Dan Bierwagen, financial consultant from A G Edwards presented a program on planning for retirement.  He was assisted by his wife, Marilyn.  They are from Springdale, AR.

Mary Mulligan then presented a very interesting hour on quilts she has inherited,  made and/or is in the process of completing.

The group then traveled to the Bowring Ranch via the Badger bus.  We toured the ranch house and visitor’s center and enjoyed a delicious dinner.  The group returned to the Holiday Express where the ladies enjoyed an evening of relaxation with foot massages and facials courtesy of Jenny Reece and Gina Fischer and Arbonne. 

Saturday morning ANCW president elect Kristy Lage, Sutherland, NE reported on the 2007 Beef Cook-off and Beef Ambassador program.  Conducting meetings was Janice Rustad, Regional VII director for ANCW.  Officers elected included Judy Reece, By Laws and Legislative committee.  Ginny Lee will represent Nebraska as State Team member for the National Beef Cook-off to be held in California in 2009. 

Region VII meeting in 2009 will be hosted by North Dakota. 

Brenda Allison, Health and Fitness Center, presented a very interesting nutrition and weight control program. 

Local hostesses were Judy Reece, Ginny Lee, Sandi Ormesher, Glee Swanson and Pat Neujahr.  Also attending was the Nebraska Cattlewomen president, Bonita Lederer, Lincoln.
